Harbor From the Official Site - After 99 years as a New York State Trout Hatchery, the "Hatchery and Aquarium" opened as a non-profit educational center dedicated to educating its visitors about the freshwater ecosystems of New York. Unique public programs are presented throughout the year and education programs are provided for thousands of students from pre-K through college who come from all parts of the state. Scouts, senior citizens, and groups with disabilities also attend programs.____________

Cradle of Aviation Museum
With hangars built and designed during World War II, filled
with operational warplanes from that historic era and staffed with
volunteers in authentic period flight gear, the American Airpower Museum
brings to cost effective life powerful images from another era.
Sands Point Preserve a nature preserve and a prime example of Long Island's Gold Coast estate period. Visit the Hempstead House and Castle Gould, the castle built on the estate in 1902, fashioned after Kilkenny Castle in Ireland. Enjoy the 261-acre preserve and the preserve visitor center, special exhibit halls, museum shop and snack bar.....

Exhibition and program themes focus upon Long Island's Gold Coast Era and upon William K.
